Our Financial Services division is now recognised industry wide as a result of the deals we have undertaken and the hands on approach we continue to take in covering all aspects of a sale, merger or acquisition. Our broking services will assist a potential vendor through from research, target identification, initial approaches, negotiation – right up to the point of heads of agreement.

Our business is reliant upon networking with a multitude of people in the financial services market place.

Although we have a core business of merger and acquisition broking and consultancy we also undertake assignments in product/service marketing and headhunting.

In conjunction with our accounting M&A Division we have in the past contacted accounting practices with a view to outsourcing their financial services work to a regional IFA client.

We are interested in working closely with our clients -  individuals and companies alike - to strategically develop their business.

Our current market knowledge, experience and performance related remuneration have assisted hundreds of parties in the financial services industry.

Wanted

We are constantly updating our database of acquisitive clients. We currently have parties interested in acquisitions of all sizes throughout the U.K. Smaller IFA’s, Mortgage Brokers and Insurance businesses with turnover below £250k are always of interest to our contacts as they are easy to integrate.

We maintain and update our relationships with regional and national financial service companies. Our contacts at this end of the market would consider businesses of all sizes with the main emphasis being placed on:

  • Recurring income streams (renewal and trail)
  • Types of business
  • Average business written per individual

Deal structures currently offered range over a 3-5 year period based on future business written on a transferred client bank. This type of deal structure will normally include a multiple of the recurring income (renewal plus trail) paid to the vendor.

In some cases up to 80% of the recurring income can be paid to the vendor for the life of the income stream plus a percentage of any new business written on the transferred clients.
