What we do
We were initially set up in the UK to assist accounting practices with their M&A transactions. We have since established offices in Singapore and Hong Kong and evolved into a full-service M&A advisory consultancy, dedicated to supporting clients in our three main service verticals.
We specialise in supporting entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses through to larger PE-backed firms to sell, acquire or raise capital.
Our teams are specialists in M&A advisory, strategy development, transformation, change, research & analysis and market data information. We support a range of clients at all levels and are experts at navigating the M&A space, providing solutions to strategic challenges. Often our consultancy and M&A work are closely interlinked.
Whether you are looking to buy or sell a business, we have the experience and in-depth market knowledge to guide you through the process with a bespoke, hands-on approach to each client engagement.

Our story
Our business dates back to the mid-80s, set up in the UK primarily to assist domestic accounting practices with their M&A transactions. By the late 90s we were also working with clients in a pre- and post-M&A advisory capacity; supporting clients in the lead up to an ‘event’ and working with them on post-M&A integration.
At this time, we also recognised the increasing demand from clients for independent advice on how to develop their businesses more generally. This included human capital issues, service delivery, operational structures, partnership and shareholder agreements, profit improvement, benchmarking, IT and general corporate governance issues. These are some of the areas we continue to work with our clients on, assisting them in building out their strategies.
Many accounting firms in the UK started selling off their wealth management divisions in the early 2000s and we pivoted into this space, eventually offering M&A services to independent wealth management businesses.
In 2009 we were invited by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore (ACRA) to present at their annual conference – focusing on the merits and pitfalls of consolidation in the professions.
The following year we set up our office in Singapore to support Asian clients and then went on to setup in Hong Kong in 2014.
From each of our offices we support clients in our focus sectors with their M&A transactions and strategy development.
Our UK office represents clients in the UK and across Europe, with our Asia-Pacific based clients supported by our Singapore and Hong Kong offices.
